Welcome, thank you for consciously coming for yourself. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am a Clinical Psychologist; I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg South Africa. I have worked with people from various backgrounds and cultures. I have done so in a variety of settings including state run adult, child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient facilities; as well as successfully running my own private psychology practice since 2015.
I am here to support you in finding relief from any distress, overcome any challenges and work with you so you can live a fulfilled and meaningful life.

I view each person holistically and respect that everyone comes in with their own lived experiences. I am here to learn from you; to support you in a positive and constructive way.
I use a range of therapeutic modalities and tailor my approach to each person’s need. Each type of therapy provides us with different tools. The therapies I use include psychodynamic psychotherapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), supportive psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, and employ mindfulness techniques as we embody our experiences. I offer both long term and short-term therapy, whether that be weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions. You and I will talk about what feels right for you. Therapy is a journey, and we want to engage with it at various times; in diverse approaches and this is something we can explore together.
I will spend time with you in our first session; in understanding your goals, experiences, and concerns so we can discuss how I can best support you. During our first sessions, you can assess if the space is good for you and if am the right fit for you. I will invite you in our first session to ask any questions you may have.
Clients often seek my support for a variety of reasons, and they do not need to be specific as there are many different parts of ourselves and life. The areas that I have interest in and work with also include:
-
Depression
-
Anxiety
-
Personality Disorders
-
Trauma (PTSD) (CPTSD)
-
Disordered Eating
-
Sex; Gender and Sexuality
-
Self-harm
-
Interpersonal difficulties including relational, marital, occupational, and social
Looking forward to meeting with you and beginning or continuing your mental health journey.
Some extra notes:
-
I do not do assessments or forensic reports.
-
Please note that I do not provide bulk billing services. Please speak to me if you have a concession card and/or NDIS in the first session. If you have Work Cover or TAC, I still charge full therapy rates and reports are paid for privately.
-
If you would like a letter of support for your work or university; please let me know. I usually only do this after seeing you for at least 6 sessions. This gives me time to get to know you which allows me to motivate for you in the best way possible.
-
My aim is to provide you with a containing experience. I commit to the therapy space I have with you and will always be there at the time and day you are booked in for. If something unexpected comes up; I will always inform you, where possible, in advance.
