Profile Image

Welcome. Thank you for choosing to invest in yourself through therapy.

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience, working as a counsellor since 2007 and as a Clinical Psychologist since 2012. My work is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and grounded in the belief that healing occurs when people feel grounded, safe, understood, and supported.

My therapeutic foundation is in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, helping clients understand how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unconscious processes continue to influence their present lives. Alongside this, I have a strong focus on trauma recovery, nervous system stabilisation, and EMDR, supporting clients to reduce distress, process traumatic experiences, and develop a greater sense of regulation and resilience.

I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate training at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and have worked across public mental health services, inpatient and outpatient settings, and private practice with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Every person brings a unique story, and I tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals. Depending on what is most helpful, I integrate approaches including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, EMDR, Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilisation (ASSYST), DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, and somatic approaches that support nervous system regulation.

Whether you are seeking short-term support or longer-term therapy, we will work collaboratively and at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you. Our first sessions focus on understanding your experiences, your goals, and whether I am the right fit for your journey. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I welcome your questions throughout.

I work with clients that seek support for many reasons, including trauma, relationship difficulties, nervous system dysregulation, perimenopause, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, grief, identity, sexual health and parenting.

The areas that I have interest in and work with also include:

  • Personality Disorders

  • Trauma (PTSD) (CPTSD)

  • Disordered Eating

  • Sex and Sexuality

  • Self-harm

  • Interpersonal difficulties including relational, marital, occupational, and social

My aim is to provide you with a containing therapy environment where I work with you to achieve your goals. I commit to the therapy space I have with you and will always be there at the time and day you are booked in for. If something unexpected comes up; I will always inform you, where possible, in advance.

Looking forward to meeting with you and beginning or continuing your mental health journey.

Some extra notes:

  • While I have worked with kids and adolescents; I do not currently see people under 18.

  • I do not do assessments or forensic reports.

  • Please note that I do not provide bulk billing services.

  • Please speak to me if you have a concession card and/or NDIS in the first session. If you have Work Cover or TAC, I still charge full therapy rates and reports are paid for privately.

  • If you would like a letter of support for your work or university; please let me know. I only offer this after seeing you for at least 6 sessions. This gives me time to get to know you which allows me to motivate for you in the best way possible.
