Parenting of Neurodiverse Kids - facilitated by Sarah Newstead
A structured group program for parents and caregivers of neurodiverse children, designed to build regulation skills, reduce stress, and foster connection with others in similar situations.
Medicare rebates are available for group therapy sessions through a Mental Health Care Plan. Contact us for current rebate information and to register your interest.
Assessments
ADHD and Autism (ASD) Assessments
Bridget offers comprehensive psychological assessments for adults (18+). Assessments are available for ADHD only, ASD only, or a combined ADHD and ASD assessment.
ADHD Assessment
A comprehensive assessment for adults seeking to understand whether ADHD may be contributing to difficulties with attention, organisation, impulsivity, emotional regulation, or day-to-day functioning. Includes a detailed clinical and developmental history, standardised measures, diagnostic evaluation, and a comprehensive written report with recommendations.
Autism (ASD) Assessment
A comprehensive assessment exploring whether autism may provide a framework for understanding an individual's experiences, communication style, sensory profile, relationships, and patterns of behaviour. Considers developmental history, current functioning, masking, and differential diagnoses, with a detailed report and personalised recommendations.
Combined AuDHD Assessment
A combined assessment exploring both ADHD and autism, recognising that these presentations can overlap and interact in complex ways. Provides an integrated understanding of attention, executive functioning, sensory and social experiences, emotional regulation, and developmental history, with comprehensive diagnostic feedback, reporting, and recommendations.
Personality Assessment
A comprehensive assessment designed to develop a deeper understanding of longstanding patterns in emotions, relationships, self-perception, and behaviour. Can assist with diagnostic clarification and explores personality traits, interpersonal patterns, emotional regulation, and underlying psychological processes, resulting in an individualised formulation and recommendations.
