How to Make an Appointment with Us
This practice does not have a telephone. All correspondence is done via email.

If you would like to book an appointment online or if you have not been seen at the clinic before. Please fill in the contact form or email our reception admin@consciouscalmpsychology.com.au. Once you have done this a member of our team will be in touch to schedule your first appointment.
For existing clients (You will be able to manage your bookings from July 2024)

Providing some details about why you are seeking therapy

If you require an interpreter or have other special needs, such as wheelchair access, or having experience with special needs patients, let us know when you book your appointment.

We recommend that you book a few sessions in advance and you can always cancel them in order to get times and days that you prefer and avoid long wait times.

If you need a letter confirming your appointments at our clinic, please let us know prior to your first session so we can have them ready for you
Step 2
What to expect?

Our administration will contact you to arrange a suitable time and day for your first session.

If you have a MHCP or referral you can upload it here or send it through when booking your appointment.

You will be requested to fill in intake forms and payment forms prior to your session.

For questions related to bookings, please contact admin.

For questions related to therapy, please bring these to your session.
Please use our resources to support you in the interim before your session.
Step 3
Before your first session check:

You have MHCP.

Intake form and payment forms completed.

Scroll down on the contacts page to see where our offices are.

Email admin 48 hours in advance if you need to change the session.

Start a folder on your phone or computer to write down anything you want to discuss with your therapist. Often it's a lot to take in and it's comforting knowing you have your notes there.

Writing down a list of your symptoms, if you have any.

Writing down any other treatments you are receiving, including medication.
Step 4
On the day of your appointment:

Please refer to the parking map, so you can find easy parking. We understand that parking can be stressful before appointments.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early so you can let yourself in. You will be sent a door code prior to your session.

Coming a bit earlier will give yourself a chance to calm your body and mind a little bit before coming into the therapy room, it will also give you a chance to enjoy the space, relax, and enjoy some water.

Cancellation Policy: Please provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a full charge, excluding Medicare or private health rebate, unless discussed with your therapist.
To honour the therapeutic process and accommodate our waiting list, we maintain a 48-hour cancellation policy. To reschedule or cancel an appointment, please reach out to our service by 12 pm the day before. Failure to do so may result in the application of the full session fee.
