ABOUT ME

Bridget Agnoleto

Clinical Psychologist

Bachelor of Arts (Psychology and Forensic Science), Bachelor of Psychological Studies (Honours),

Master of Psychology (Clinical),

MAPS,

AHPRA Board Approved Supervisor

Hello! I am Bridget, a registered clinical psychologist and board approved supervisor with AHPRA. I've worked across public mental health (community and inpatient), forensic services, and private practice, which has given me a broad and grounded understanding of the many ways psychological distress can show up in people's lives.

I work exclusively with adults (18+) and support people experiencing a range of concerns. Many of my clients I see come to therapy feeling stuck, misunderstood, or exhausted by patterns that no longer serve them -

my role is to help make sense of these experiences and support meaningful and sustainable change.

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely safe, respected, and heard. My approach is collaborative and tailored, recognising that no two people - or their stories - are the same.

I employ an eclectic treatment approach, utilising a range of therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), schema therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Additionally, I conduct comprehensive assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults (18+) if required as part of our therapeutic intervention.

Clients often seek my support for various difficulties, including:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Psychosis

  • Mood disorders

  • Personality disorders

  • Trauma

  • Self-harm

  • Interpersonal/relationship difficulties

  • ADHD and ASD assessments for adults
